AI Build
How an AI Build works
Understand it first. Agree on the price. Build it properly. Keep it working.
If we identify something in your business that's genuinely worth building — an AI assistant, automation or workflow — we follow a simple process.
We don't jump straight into development, and I don't give you a price based on a quick conversation.
First, we work out exactly what you need, what it should achieve and whether it's actually worth building.
Then you'll know what you're getting, what it will cost to build and what it will cost to keep it running.
Work out what we're building
If our conversation identifies an opportunity worth pursuing, the next step is paid scoping.
We'll look at the problem you're trying to solve, how the work happens today, what the solution needs to do and what a successful result looks like.
At the end, you'll receive a clear plan and proposal covering:
- what will be built
- what it will cost to build
- what's included and what's not
- ongoing support and maintenance
- any expected ongoing technology or AI costs
Nothing gets built until you understand the proposal and decide you want to go ahead.
Build it
Once we've agreed on the plan and price, I build the solution.
That might be an AI assistant, an automation, a workflow or another practical AI tool designed around the way your business actually works.
The scope and price are agreed before development starts, so you know what you're committing to.
Get it working in your business
A successful build isn't just something that works in a demonstration.
It needs to work in the real world, with the people who will actually use it.
We'll get the solution running in your business, make sure the right people know how to use it and address any issues that come up as it moves into everyday use.
Keep it working
AI solutions need looking after.
Software changes. AI models change. Integrations change. Your business changes.
Ongoing support and maintenance is therefore considered when we scope the build and shown separately in your proposal, so you know the ongoing cost before deciding to proceed.
Once the solution is live, I'll continue to help keep it working, secure and useful.
If your needs change or we identify something new that's worth building, we can scope that separately rather than quietly adding work or costs to your existing arrangement.
Let's work out what AI agents could run or grow your business
You don't need to know what to build. Start with a conversation and we'll work out whether there's an opportunity worth taking further.
Let's work out what we can buildNot ready to build anything?
That's completely fine.
You don't need an AI Build to work with me.
