Hi, I'm Keith Jenneke.

For the past 25 years I've built and fixed technology for organisations that couldn't afford to get it wrong — government departments, major banks, large companies. These days I spend most of my week talking to small business owners instead. That's an unusual jump but it also exactly why it works.

Big organisations learn the hard way what happens when a technology change gets rushed without the right foundations underneath it. For 25 years it's been my job to stop that from happening or fixing it when it does, including designing how the process and systems fit together and leading the teams that built them.

Then my focus shifted to data and AI, and I started noticing the same mistake everywhere I looked, just at a smaller scale: small and medium businesses are being told to adopt AI the same rushed way, someone buys a subscription, one person has a go, and nothing actually changes in how the work gets done.

The real advantage isn't AI. It's the clarity you bring to it.

What's missing isn't enthusiasm it's knowing how and where AI fits into your business and then having a plan to keep it running. That's the part I've spent 25 years doing at a much bigger scale, and it translates down.

I've also run a small business myself, so I'm not coaching you from the outside. I know what it's like to wear every hat, and to have a technology decision compete with rent and wages for your attention.
